Huawei made a huge announcement this week related to its PC manufacturing unit. The company is reading to start selling its very first desktop computer, dubbed the MateStation B515. The manufacturer claims that the new PC is designed for commercial uses and comes with a Monitor and a mouse and keyboard.

But if you already have your system and don’t need anything else, but still need a decent performing monitor. Huawei now offers its customers to purchase the new Huawei AD80HW monitor separately for ¥899 (~$137).

The monitor comes with a 23.8-inch screen along with 1920 x 1080 resolution and eye protection. The viewing angles are kept at 178°, and it comes with a 90% screen-to-body ratio. The device also has a 1000:1 contrast ratio and a 72% NTSC color gamut.

The Huawei AD80HW monitor has a full-screen design with a screen that can be tilted upwards and downwards to a certain degree. For display connectivity, there is an HDMI port and a VGA port provided by the manufacturer. As we know that this is the first time Huawei has launched a PC of its own; thus, the monitor is one of its kind from the manufacturer. But we expect the company to launch more models of the display in the coming days. Hopefully, the next models introduced will carry a higher refresh rate.

The monitor market in China has been quite hot recently. Huawei will face tough competition from already domineering Xiaomi and not to mention from its former subsidiary, Honor. But in terms of Xiaomi, it sells its display products even outside the Chinese market. As to whether Huawei will make its new monitor or even its PC available in the global market is not yet known.
