A few days back, HTC unveiled the U24 Pro in Taiwan its latest addition to the U series. The new flagship draws power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, paired with a hearty 12GB LPDDR5 RAM to keep things ticking along smoothly even when put through demanding tasks. For storage, you can choose between 256GB and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage which can be expanded by up to a microSD card, with more than enough room for apps, media, and files.
The All New HTC U24 Pro
HTC U24 Pro comes with a big 6.8-inch full-HD+ OLED display which offers a resolution of 1080×2436 pixels. The display flaunts a high 120 Hz refresh charge for clean scrolling and gaming, which is complemented via Gorilla Glass protection for scratch and drop sturdiness.
On the photographic front the U24 Pro packs in a versatile camera setup. A triple camera system, consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and EIS on the back, ensures that the images clicked in different lightings, are bright and stable.
The setup is coupled with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera for wide field-of-view shots and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom. A 50MP front-facing selfie camera on this display is obviously great as well since your self-portraits are going to be packed with crisp and vivid details.
It has a big 4,600mAh battery to easily last a whole day of typical use, and 60W wired charging, 15W wireless charging, and 5W reverse wireless charging for more convenience. Connectivity options are comprehensive, including Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS with multiple satellite systems support, NFC, and a reliable 3.5mm audio jack.
Design-wise, the HTC U24 Pro measures 167.1 x 74.9 x 8.98mm and weighs 198.7g, featuring an IP67-certified build for dust and water resistance, akin to its predecessor. It runs on Android 14 out of the box, offering the latest software enhancements and features.
Available in Space Blue and Twilight White colors in Taiwan, the HTC U24 Pro starts at TWD 18,990 (approximately ₹50,000) for the base model and TWD 20,990 (around ₹54,000) for the higher storage variant. Global availability details have yet to be announced, making it a highly anticipated release for HTC enthusiasts worldwide.
