HTC announced its first 5G smartphone dubbed as HTC U20 5G and Desire 20 Pro

HTC finally revealed its first 5G smartphone and more interestingly it announced two new smartphones in the market today one of which is not a 5G smartphone. The smartphones are – HTC U20 5G and HTC Desire 20 Pro, the latter one is a non-5G device. We expected that HTC’s 5G smartphone will feature the Snapdragon 765G processor and our reports are proved right.

Specification of HTC U20 5G:

  • Display- 6.80-inch FHD+ LCD
  • Front Camera- 32MP
  • Rear Camera- 48MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP
  • RAM- 8GB
  • Storage- 256GB
  • Processor- Snapdragon 765G
  • OS- Android 10
  • Battery- 5000mAh

HTC U20 5G runs on Android 10 and features a 6.8-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) hole-punch display with 20:9 aspect ratio. The rear camera setup features a 48MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP secondary shooter with f/2.2 aperture, and a 118-degree wide-angle field of view, and two 2MP cameras with f2.4 aperture. It has a 32MP front camera housed in the punch-hole cutout on the display.

The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC, paired with 8GB RAM. Internal storage is at 256GB with the option to expand it further using a microSD card slot. The device is powered by a 5,000mAh battery inside with Quick Charge 4.0 (up to 18W) support.

  • Rear Camera- 48MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP
  • RAM- 6GB
  • Storage- 128GB
  • OS- Android 10
  • Battery- 5000mAh

HTC Desire 20 Pro features a 6.5-inch fHD+ (1,080×2,340 pixels) hole-punch display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The rear camera setup features a 48MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP secondary shooter with f/2.2 aperture, and a 118-degree wide-angle field of view, and two 2MP cameras with f2.4 aperture. It has a 25MP front camera housed in the punch-hole cutout on the display.

The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC, paired with 6GB RAM. Internal storage is at 128GB with the option to expand it further using a microSD card slot. It will run on Android 10 and will pack 5,000mAh battery but with Quick Charge 3.0 support.

Price and availability of both the devices are still not official yet. The company has just revealed both the smartphones and has just revealed its specs.
