HTC A101 tablet launched with 10-inch LCD and Unisoc chip

HTC is introducing a new tablet in Russia and South Africa called HTC A101 and it is a budget tablet. The tablet features a 10-inch display, a Unisoc chipset, dual rear cameras, alongside a big battery. The tablet additionally will get a 3.5mm headphone jack for music lovers.

Priced at approx. Rs 28,106, HTC A101 will be offered in Gray and Silver colors. Currently, there is no information on the availability of the tablet in other markets. Here is all the information on the specifications, features, and price of the HTC A101.

The HTC A101 is sports a 10-inch LCD display that offers a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. The tablet is equipped with pogo pins, which can be used to connect an optional keyboard. The device has a metal body and features a Unisoc T618 processor under the hood.

The tablet is powered by Unisoc’s T618 SoC paired with 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB of built-in storage and there’s a microSD card slot for additional storage. The tablet also gets a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Speaking about the camera department, at the back, there’s a dual camera system including a 16-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel secondary camera. At the front, the tablet features an 8-megapixel camera, which has support for beauty mode, 720p video recording. The device also supports AI face unlock for an additional layer of security.

The HTC A101 comes with a metal body. It runs on the Android 11 operating system. The tablet carries a 7,000mAh battery with support for 10W charging. 

HTC A101 has volume buttons, a power key, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The device is equipped with Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, LTE, and GPS. The tablet measures 245.5 x 160.3 x 8.4mm and weighs 530 grams.

The HTC A101 is priced at RUB 19,890 and the device is available in the color options such as Gray and Silver in Russia. The gadget may also make its approach to South Africa quickly.
