A number of times we have seen the Zen 3 based AMD APUs popping up on benchmarks that confirms the fact that the Red team will launch them eventually. Most likely, pretty soon, AMD would eventually announce the rest of the Ryzen 5000 series processors along with their APU counterparts.
Now, the 8 core Cezanne desktop APU has been spotted running on an HP EliteDesk 805 G8 Desktop Mini PC with a base clock speed of 3.7 GHz and boosts up to 4.4 GHz, it is indeed the Ryzen 7 5700G that has been spotted repeatedly.
The single-core, as well as the multi-core performance, seems to be really good, especially considering the fact it is being used on a mini PC. Also, you have the same age-old integrated Vega graphics and this is an engineering sample, so the final performance should really be better.
However, the repeated benchmarks do confirm the existence of these Cezzane desktop APUs and hopefully, we will see them in the market as well, but will it be again an OEM exclusive remains a question to answer for by the Red team.
