HP has a lot of its entry-level Chromebooks for the masses and this HP Chromebook x360 14c is one of the most popular ones with older Intel chips. As this is a 2-in-1 laptop, a lot of people look to buy it because this is one of the few Chromebooks that can be used in a versatile way.
Spotted originally by Chrome Unboxed, the laptop has been listed on Best Buy for as much as $699 and to be fair for the specs, the pricing is quite good but could be a better buy during sales when it’s around $500. Let’s know about the specs of this new Chromebook:
HP Chromebook x360 14c Specifications
This new HP Chromebook x360 14c sports an older yet capable Intel® Core™ i3-1215U processor with 6 cores and a max boost clock speed of 4.40 GHz. The 14-inch touch 16:10 display comes with 1920 x 1200 resolution and 178-degree wide-viewing angles, it looks pretty well and has 250 nits of brightness which is good enough for daily work.
The display is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass rating, and that is obviously an added bonus. This comes paired with 8GB LPDDR4x-4266 MHz RAM and 128GB SSD, which we think could have upgraded especially in 2023!
Also, you have a 45 Whr battery which should last for long hours with ChromeOS on top, also you get the latest Wi-Fi 6E connectivity, Bluetooth 5.3 and plenty of USB Type-C and Type-A ports.
Also, you get dual speakers by Bang & Olufsen with HP Audio Boost, then you have an HP True Vision 5MP camera and an HP Imagepad with a multi-touch gesture. Apart from a fingerprint sensor for quick login you also have a full-sized backlit keyboard, making the laptop very usable during the night as well.
