Where to Find The Overlook in Warzone

The Overlook is impossible to miss once you know where to look. To fly through the Overlook’s Upper Skydeck in Warzone for the CODtoons Event, players need to head to the Overlook, the massive under-construction skyscraper located in the Downtown District of Verdansk. This towering structure replaced the WeN Comms Tower and serves as one of Verdansk’s most recognizable landmarks.

Step-by-Step Guide to Flying Through the Upper Skydeck

Successfully completing this challenge requires precise timing and positioning. Here’s your complete walkthrough:

Method 1: Parachute Approach (Recommended)

Jump from the aircraft early in the match
Navigate toward Downtown District where The Overlook is located
Identify the large gap approximately three-quarters up the building
Aim for the opening between the upper floors
Fly through the gap to complete the challenge

Method 2: Vehicle Launch Method

For players who prefer a more creative approach, you can use vehicles to launch yourself toward the upper levels. Position a vehicle at the base of The Overlook and use explosive momentum to propel yourself upward through the skydeck opening.

Pro Tips for Success

Timing is Everything: The best time to attempt this challenge is during the initial drop phase when you have maximum control over your parachute and trajectory.

Visual Markers: Simply load into Verdansk, look for the large gap about three-quarters of the way up the Overlook (you can’t miss it), then fly through it. The opening is distinctly visible and designed to be accessible for this specific challenge.

Multiple Attempts: Don’t worry if you miss on your first try. The challenge can be completed in any Warzone match, so keep attempting until successful.

Additional CODToons Event Challenges

While flying through The Overlook’s Upper Skydeck is just one task, the CODToons event offers numerous other challenges across different game modes. These include vehicle elimination challenges, match victories in specific playlists, and zombie-based objectives that unlock various cartoon-themed rewards.

Rewards and Incentives

Completing the Overlook challenge contributes to your overall CODToons event progress. The CODtoons Event is set to end on August 7 at 9 AM PT. Once it ends, the TR2 CQB Auto Conversion Kit will move over to the Armory, making it essential to complete challenges before the deadline.

The event features multiple tiers of rewards, including weapon blueprints, operator skins, calling cards, and exclusive camos that showcase the cartoon aesthetic theme.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

Flying Too Low: Many players attempt to fly through lower openings in the building. The challenge specifically requires the “Upper Skydeck,” so aim higher.

Wrong Building: Ensure you’re targeting The Overlook specifically, not other tall buildings in the Downtown District.

Poor Timing: Attempting this challenge mid-match when the circle is closing can lead to elimination before completion.
