Ice Spice: The History of the Shade

Isis Naija Gaston is Ice Spice’s true name, but at the age of 14, she created the amusing handle for a personal Instagram account, which gave rise to her stage name. Unusual for Instagram, she once removed a post in which she revealed her true name! This is because Instagram’s computer system erred in interpreting the word Isis, which can also refer to a group.

However, Ice Spice is happy with her true name since it reflects her ancestry. Despite her musical persona as Ice Spice, it’s still crucial to know her true name.

Who is Ice Spice?

Charina Almanzar is Ice Spice’s mother. When Ice Spice was a small child, Charina reared her. Although Ice Spice’s father’s involvement in her upbringing is unknown to the public, Charina has clearly been a rock of support.

Charina became rather well-known on the internet! She can be seen dancing excitedly to Ice Spice’s music in a leaked video. The two looked so similar to fans that some even thought Charina was a younger version of Ice Spice.

Charina leads a life that is somewhat private. Other than being Ice Spice’s mother, not much is known about her personal or professional life.

How Old is Ice Spice?

Joseph Gaston is Ice Spice’s father. He was formerly an underground rapper and is African-American with Nigerian ancestry. This could account for Ice Spice’s early exposure to hip-hop and possibly ignite Ice Spice’s own musical interest. Ice Spice is 24 years old.

Although there aren’t many details, Ice Spice’s parents met at a McDonald’s and eventually divorced when she was a little child. She grew up with her grandparents and cousins for a while. Nothing about Ice Spice Parents’ occupation is available to the general public.

Ice Spice has a flaming past despite her seemingly laid-back demeanor! This Capricorn rapper was born Isis Naija Gaston and has African-American and Dominican ancestry. Her father, Joseph, may have even ignited the spark for music at a young age, and her mother, Charina, encourages her. You finally understand the family behind the celebrity!
