Honor releases its first flagship lineup post-split from Huawei

Honor has had a rough time after it separated from Huawei, it has had to start from scratch in multiple areas and has had to deal with conflicts in matters of the OS that it uses and so on. But oh what a comeback it has made with the Honor Magic3 Series. The flagship lineup consists of 3 devices, the Magic3, The Magic3 Pro, and the Magic3 Pro+ which is also the best device Honor has to offer in the market.

Following are the specs of the devices:

Honor Magic3

The Honor Magic3 ships with a 6.76″ curved OLED display with a high refresh rate of 120Hz. The display offers support for HDR10+ and has 10-bit color with 456PPI. It weighs 202g and has an IP54 rating for dust and water protection.

The Honor Magic3 is powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset unlike the other models in the lineup that feature the Snapdragon 888+.

Coming to the battery of the device, Honor has integrated a 4,600mAh battery with support for 66W fast charging. The device comes in two storage variants, an 8GB+128GB version and an 8GB+256GB version.

It has facial recognition and an under-display fingerprint scanner. The Honor Magic3 packs a triple-camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor with f/1.9 aperture and a 13MP Ultra-wide sensor that goes along with a 64MP monochrome lens. The front camera is a 13MP selfie shooter.

Apart from this, the device has a USB Type-C port, support for 5G, Wi-Fi 6, and NFC. It runs on Magic UI 5 based on Android 11 and is available in 4 colorways, a Blue Hour, Golden Hour Pink, White, and Black. It costs 899 Euros(78,385 INR).

Honor Magic3 Pro

The Honor Magic3 Pro features a 6.76″ curved OLED screen with a high refresh rate of 120Hz, it supports 10-bit color and 1344p along with 456PPI. It will also come with HDR10+ support.

The Magic3 Pro is powered by the powerful Snapdragon 888+, the best from the brand currently, it ships in two storage configurations, an 8GB+256GB version, and a 12GB+512GB version.

The Magic3 Pro also has a 4,600mAh battery with support for 66W wired fast charging, however, it also comes with support for 50W wireless charging and reverse wireless charging as well.

The device supports facial recognition and has a fingerprint scanner integrated into the display. Coming to the camera specs, it has a quad-camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide sensor, a 64MP monochrome lens, and a 64MP telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom, 10x hybrid zoom, and 100x digital zoom!

The front camera is a 13MP selfie shooter. Apart from this, the Magic3 Pro has a USB Type-C port, 5G connectivity, support for NFC, and Wi-Fi 6. It will also run on Magic UI 5 based on Android 11.

The device is available in 4 colors, Blue Hour, Golden Hour Pink, White, and Black. It retails at 1099 Euros or 95,700 INR.

Honor Magic3 Pro+

The Honor Magic3 Pro+ is the best device in the lineup, it has a 6.76″ curved OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1344p, 456PPi, support for HDR10+, and an IP68 rating. The display also has Nano Crystal Shield Protection.

The Magic3 Pro+ is powered by the Snapdragon 888+ SoC and comes in only a single storage variant of 12GB+512GB.

The device has a 4,600mAh battery with support for 66W wired fast charging, 50W wireless fast charging, and reverse wireless charging.

The device retails for 1499 Euros or 1,30,600 INR.

The Honor Magic3 lineup will go on sale in China, for now, the company is yet to announce when the lineup will be available in other markets.
