The Honor Pad X9 was released in India on Saturday as the successor of the Honor Pad X8, which debuted in September 2022 and featured a MediaTek Helio G80 SoC, a 10.1-inch full-HD IPS display, and a 5,100mAh battery. The new Pad X9 offers significant improvements and updates over its predecessor.
In India, the Honor Pad X9 is available in a single configuration with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage for Rs. 14,499. The tablet is available in Space Grey and is presently available for pre-order. The device will go on sale officially on August 2nd, exclusively through Amazon. Customers who pre-order the tablet will receive a Rs. 500 discount and a free Honor Flip cover with their purchase.
The Honor Pad X9 has an 11.5-inch display with a 2000 × 1200 pixel resolution.
The tablet has a refresh rate of 120Hz and a maximum brightness of 400 nits. It comes pre-installed with Android 13-based MagicUI 7.1, allowing users to employ multi-window, multi-screen collaboration, and three-finger swipe functions. An octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC powers the tablet.
The Honor Pad X9 has a 5-megapixel rear camera sensor and a 5-megapixel front camera sensor for optics. It has a 7,250mAh battery with 22.5W wired fast-charging capabilities and can last up to 13 hours on a single charge.
Six Cinematic Surround Speakers with Hi-Res audio capabilities are included with the tablet. It also has WiFi, Bluetooth v5.1, and a USB Type-C port for communication. The item weighs 499 g and measures 267.3mm x 167.4mm x 6.9mm.
