Honor Pad X8a Spotted on TDRA and EEC Certifications

Honor introduced the Honor Pad X8 and the Pad X8 Pro in China in 2022. However, only the Honor Pad X8 reached global markets, with the Pro model limited to China.

Well, Honor has now announced that it will soon be bringing the global version of a new entry to its Pad X8 series dubbed Honor Pad X8a. This info also seems to correlate with the recent appearance of UAE TDRA certification and EEC certification.

The TDRA certification revealed a few key indicators of this next tablet for the international market. The first one is a model number “NDL-W09” identified as the Honor Pad X8a. The fact that this tablet will also be a WiFi-only model is confirmed by the certification. Interestingly, it will be the first of X-series tablets to bear a letter at the end as part of its name in contrast with earlier models.

Additional details from the TDRA certification, but NDL-W09 also turns up in an EEC certificate. At present, that is about all of the details we have on the Pad X8a. Although the EEC certification does not mention the moniker, the TDRA certification confirms it. Secondly, the inclusion of the device on that EEC certification means it may also be available in the EU region, expanding its potential market reach.
