Honor has finally launched the Magic 6 Pro in India marking it as their top-end flagship phone in the market. That means we expect this device to pack features like a flagship Qualcomm processor, a high refresh rate display, and a large battery. Here are the details:

In India, only one variant of Magic 6 Pro has been launched which comes with 12GB RAM and a storage option that packs a whopping up to 512GB priced at ₹89,999. Interestingly, Honor has said that the price will hold for a minimum of 180 days or six months. The device is available in Black and Epi Green and will go on sale from August 15th through Amazon, major retail outlets as well as Honor’s online store.

Additionally, Honor is offering a no-cost EMI option at ₹7,500 per month. The Magic 6 Pro also has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, a standard one for any flagship device. The same GPU appears in the Realme GT 2 but it gets a rather massive 5052mm² VC Cooling system to handle thermal performance, powered by MagicOS based on Android 14. Honor guarantees 4 years of Android and 5-year security updates,

The front one comes with a 6.8-inch OLED display curved on both sides and supports 120Hz Adaptive Dynamic Refresh Rate and a peak brightness of 5,000 nits. It has added durability from Honor’s own NanoCrystal Shield and supports Dolby Vision as well. It even has 4320Hz PWM dimming, is HDR10+ certified, and 1.07 billion colors, and has 100% DCI-P3 color gamut support.

In terms of photography, the Magic 6 Pro is equipped with a triple-lens rear setup, headlined by a 108MP periscope telephoto lens offering 2.5x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom. This is accompanied by a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 50MP ultrawide camera. The front-facing camera system includes a 50MP main sensor and a 3D depth sensor.

A 5600mAh battery fuels the device with terms of power delivery capped at up to an 80W fast-charging option and a higher-end record for wireless charging, offering as much as another 66W rate. It also has an Honor E1 chip with a special power management system to improve battery life. The phone uses an RF enhancement chip C1+ for better network connectivity and has an IP68 rating too, making it resistant to dust as well as water.
