After an absence of three years, Honor intends to relaunch smartphone sales in India. The Honor relaunch campaign is being aggressively managed on social media by Madhav Sheth, the former CEO of Realme India. In June of this year, Sheth quit the company.
Prior to introducing the brand’s new identity for India as “HONOR Tech,” the firm had been gradually releasing individual letters of “HONOR.” After weeks of hints, Sheth has recently made it clear in a statement that Honor would soon introduce their newest smartphones in India.
Honor 90 features and specifications
Honor 90 has a 6.7-inch OLED screen with a high refresh rate of 120Hz and a distinctively curved shape. It boasts a 50MP front-facing camera for selfies in addition to an AI-enhanced 200MP triple back camera array. The Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Accelerated Edition chipset from Qualcomm powers it. Honor 90 is powered by Honour MagicOS 7.1, which is based on Android 13.
According to recent rumors, the Honor 90 would be released in the middle of September and could cost around Rs 45,000 in India.
The ultimate version of Honor made its debut in India in 2020. Even though it wasn’t officially confirmed, the lack of launches seemed to suggest a departure. Unfounded claims claim that the Honor 90, which was just released in China, will be the company’s debut smartphone in India during its second iteration, three years after the Honor was first unveiled. Additionally, Amazon India now sells the Honor Magic Book X14 and X15 laptops.
