Hong Min Ki Breaks His Silence — Agency Fires Back at Ex-Girlfriend’s Claims

A private breakup has turned into a very public dispute. On August 19, actor Hong Min Ki‘s agency, Fable Company, issued a detailed statement addressing serious allegations posted online by a woman identified only as “A,” his ex-girlfriend. The story has since taken over K-entertainment feeds — and both sides are telling very different versions of events.

What Sparked the Controversy

An influencer using the alias “A” shared a certified letter she had sent to Hong Min Ki, alleging assault and invasion of privacy. In a follow-up post, she added further claims — including that the actor mistreated his pet, spoke negatively about colleagues and fans, and made unwanted contact after their split.

The Agency’s Side of the Story

Fable Company’s statement paints a very different picture. According to the agency, the pair dated briefly starting around April 2026, but the relationship ended after Hong Min Ki learned “A” had stayed in contact with a previous partner. The agency claims she repeatedly showed up at his home — and even his family’s home — afterward, despite his wishes, and alleges she tampered with his doorbell CCTV during an early-morning visit.

The agency says it plans to pursue stalking and defamation charges, framing this as an escalation it can no longer stay silent about.

It’s worth noting South Korea’s stalking laws have tightened significantly in recent years, making such legal threats far more serious than they once were.

Since neither party’s claims have been independently verified, fans and readers are urged to treat details with caution rather than treating either statement as confirmed fact.
