HMD to relaunch the Nokia 6300 and Nokia 8000 series cellphones soon

HMD Global is going to introduce two new cell phones soon Nokia 6300 and Nokia 8000, following the successes of relaunching the Nokia 3310 and Nokia 8110 4G. It is expected that these two upcoming cell phones will arrive within the next few weeks.

According to Roland Quandt, the HMD is hoping to stir up nostalgia among the people who remember Nokia’s more prestigious offerings. Both of these phones will support other modern connectivity like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and most importantly both phones will be supported by the 4G network.

The Nokia 6300 is making comeback with its classic look and sturdy stainless steel body. This phone made its first debut in 2007 and cost 300 Euros at that time. This phone had with 2-inches display and 2-megapixels a single camera. This phone featured a 3rd edition S40 operating system. This phone also had a Micro-SD card slot to expand the memory.

Another phone that HMD wants to relaunch is the Nokia 8000 which is supposed to follow up from the 8xxx series of Nokia what appeared in the 1990s and had slide-out keypad covers and were famous for the craftsmanship that went into them. Nokia 8600 was the last model that already had a full colour display.

There is no clear confirmation if these phones will run KaiOS like some HMD current line up- the 8110, the 2720 Flip, and the 800 tough. The upcoming cell phones will have more smart features than the previously launched basic cell phones.

Till now, we haven’t got any further information regarding the features of these phones, but the one thing that the company ensures that the upcoming cell phone will have 4G connectivity and should be made them official in few weeks.
