Toxic Runs Away With 2026
Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups has grossed ₹341.86 crore worldwide, making it not just 2026’s biggest Kannada release by a massive margin but also the fourth highest-grossing Kannada film of all time, as covered in our broader look at Sandalwood’s all-time chart.
A Steep Drop-Off
The gap between Toxic and the rest of the field is stark — second-placed Karavali has managed just ₹9.09 crore domestically, underlining how heavily 2026’s Kannada box office has depended on a single tentpole release.
What’s Left to Come
With several months still left in the year, there’s still time for another release to challenge Toxic’s dominance, though matching its scale would require an exceptional theatrical run.
