Chelsea have reached an agreement with Barcelona for the signing of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and the sale of Marcos Alonso. Both players will be switching clubs as part of a deadline day transfer, with the final details agreed between the two parties.

The Gabon international was recently the victim of an armed robbery. His house was robbed, and he suffered a broken jaw in the process. However, that has not proven to be an obstacle as he is now set to reunite with Thomas Tuchel at Chelsea.

Alonso had an agreement with Barcelona for weeks, and the deal was agreed as well. But, it was held up due to the interest in Aubameyang. Now, a deal has been arranged with the Spaniard returning to his home country.

Chelsea will pay €14 million alongside the left-back joining Barcelona as part of the deal. The striker has agreed a two-year deal with the West London club, and has an option to extend for another year. He joins the list of ex-Arsenal players to feature for Chelsea, which includes Ashley Cole, Olivier Giroud and Cesc Fabregas among others.

The Blues have finally found a striker that is experienced in the Premier League and can aid their finishing woes.
