Hell Is Us PC Specs Revealed; Demo Launches June 2 on Steam

Rogue Factor, the developer behind Hell Is Us, has officially revealed the full PC system requirements for their upcoming action/adventure RPG, which runs on Unreal Engine 5. The game even requires more power than a lot of recent releases, which is rather surprising. For example, you can’t get Ultra textures with 4K resolution at 30 FPS – even with upscaling – it requires a powerful GeForce RTX 4090. Here’s how the system requirements break down:

Hell Is Us Needs RTX 4090 for 4K Ultra; Steam Demo Runs June 2–16, Full Release on September 4

• Minimum: 1080p at 30 FPS on Medium settings needs a GTX 1070 or RX 5600 XT, paired with an i7-7700K or Ryzen 3 3300X and 16 GB RAM.
• Recommended: 1080p at 60 FPS on High settings requires an RTX 2080 Ti or RX 6750 XT, and either an i7-11700K or Ryzen 5 7600.
• High: For 1440p at 60 FPS on High settings, you’ll need an RTX 3080 or RX 6800 XT.
• Very High: 1440p at 60 FPS on Very High settings requires an RTX 3090 or RX 6900 XT.
• Ultra: To play in 4K at 30 FPS on Ultra settings, you’ll need nothing less than an RTX 4090 or RX 7900 XTX.

All configurations require Windows 10 (64-bit), 16 GB of RAM, and 30 GB of SSD storage. There’s good news for PC gamers eager to try the title early—Hell Is Us will have a demo available on Steam from June 2 to June 16. Console players, unfortunately, won’t get access to the demo due to technical limitations.

The demo starts off at the very beginning of the game and gets the mechanics down for players, but won’t spotlight just how deep the experience gets with more of the world opened up to players, Rogue Factor promises it becomes much more expansive.

The studio also shared that the game is meant to be challenging but customizable for difficulty levels. In addition to three presets, players can fine-tune specific elements such as enemy health, damage, aggression, and death penalties. Hell Is Us is scheduled for release on September 4 across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X.
