Ten years in obscurity, one human tower and a tagline that doubles as an invitation. tvN’s upcoming comedy-drama Happy Anding has dropped its first poster, and it’s an instantly charming one.

What’s the Story?
Kang Tae Gu, Kim Nam Il and Han Jun Seo form the comedy trio Asura. They’ve spent a decade chasing laughs without ever breaking through. After they meet a mysterious woman, they set out to find new futures for themselves.
Soompi describes them as three little-known comedians who are “more passionate about making people laugh than anyone else.” That sincerity is likely the show’s heart.
Meet the Trio
- Kang Hoon as Kang Tae Gu: the leader of Asura and the one holding the group together.
- Cho Hyun Chul as Kim Nam Il: the witty performer of the trio.
- Kim Jung Jin as Han Jun Seo: the third member, whose role is still lightly sketched.
The Poster
The poster shows the trio building a human tower to announce their 10th anniversary performance. The tagline reads, “We invite you to the 10th anniversary performance of the comedy trio Asura.” It’s a charming mix of ambition and underdog energy, and a fitting way to introduce characters who have clung to their dreams for ten years.
Why It’s Worth Watching?
Stories about late bloomers resonate, and a show about comedians trying to make a living from laughter has built-in warmth. A mysterious woman adds a hook, and the mystery should keep the comedy from feeling one-note.
Can’t wait for November? Kang Hoon stars in My Bias, My Boss and Cho Hyun Chul appears in Dirty Money, both on Viki. New to the genre? Wikipedia’s Korean drama page is a good primer. For more K-drama news and streaming guides, browse TechnoSports.
