Nearly a year after its introduction in December 2021, 343 Industries officially revealed essential gameplay modes for Halo Infinite on Tuesday. Features like Forge, the map and game editor, campaign co-op (but not couch co-op), and campaign mission replay are included in Halo Infinite’s significant winter update. The upgrade also added new maps and play types along with a brand-new multiplayer battle pass. The update was made available for Windows PC and Xbox Series X by developer 343 Industries.
Both the pre-launch and post-launch roll-outs of Halo Infinite were difficult. The game’s launch was postponed, and it didn’t include enduring essential features like Forge mode and narrative co-op. Although couch co-op may no longer be available for the game, fans may now attempt campaign cooperative online play for the first time.

A few days after Xbox Game Studios president Matt Booty gave another open evaluation of the game’s development and release, the major winter update became available. Booty compared the release to the “classic runner’s mistake of falling and stumbling as you come across the finish line” and claimed that Halo Infinite’s live service strategy “fell short.”
