Developer 343 Industries revealed on Friday that the network campaign co-op test flight for Halo Infinite is now operational. You can play the campaign during the test with up to three of your friends, and the game is compatible with PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. A mission replay function that wasn’t included when the game first launched is also present in the test.

You should be aware that in this test, you will be starting the campaign from scratch before you and your friends leap onboard Zeta Halo. Anything you achieve in the test will not appear in your retail build of the game, and neither will any progress you’ve made in the retail build. But starting over with your friends if it’s been a while since you finished Halo Infinite’s campaign could be a good excuse to play it again.

Last month, 343 Industries wrote a lengthy blog post outlining what to expect in the test. The company also has a support page specifically for the flight on their website. It should be noted that Steam users can only participate in the test if they have received an invitation.

Although the test formally launched the week of July 11th, as 343 Industries had initially planned, it’s still a little later than you might have wanted. On August 1st at 1 PM ET, the test will be over. Campaign co-op and mission replay haven’t been officially launched yet, but according to a roadmap issued in April by 343 Industries, the company is aiming for “late August.” On that roadmap, the split-screen co-release op’s date was marked as “TBD.”
