Haier Appliances India has introduced the Haier In-Vista, a five-door built-in refrigerator, marking its entry as the country’s sole offering in this specific configuration. The launch, held at the ‘Elevate with Haier’ event, targets the growing segment of premium Indian homes that prioritize both aesthetic integration and advanced functionality in kitchen appliances.
The In-Vista is designed for flush, gap-free installation, allowing it to integrate with surrounding cabinetry. Haier states this design aims to provide a unified look within modern kitchen spaces. The company, which identifies as the No. 1 global major appliances brand for 17 consecutive years, emphasizes the In-Vista’s combination of design integration and food preservation capabilities. Haier: Design and Integration
The In-Vista utilizes Haier’s “Free Built-in Technology,” which facilitates a seamless fit with kitchen interiors by maintaining 0 cm side gaps. This is achieved through an innovative bottom-heat-exchange architecture, shifting heat exchange from the sides to the base, keeping side panels cool. The system is supported by 60 global patents and holds UL and VDE certifications.
The refrigerator features a professional hydraulic hinge that allows a 113° wide-angle opening and an automatic closing mechanism at 45°. While primarily designed for modular kitchens, the In-Vista can also function as a freestanding side-by-side refrigerator. Its exterior comes in an Ornate Black, stone-textured finish. Interior illumination includes sensor-activated ambient lighting and 270° interior daylighting.
Advanced Storage and Preservation
At the core of the Haier In-Vista is its 5-door, 5-zone “Family Care” layout, comprising 12 storage sections. These zones are engineered to provide tailored environments for different food categories:
* **Fridge Zone:** (+1°C to +9°C)
* **MRA Fresh Zone:** (+1°C to +9°C)
* **Magic Convertible Zone:** (+5°C to -20°C)
* **Freezer Zone:** (-14°C to -24°C)
* **Deep Freeze Zone:** (-30°C)
The MRA Fresh Zone incorporates MRA Fresh Technology, designed to reduce oxidation and maintain humidity levels above 90% within a sealed drawer. This technology is claimed to offer 2–6 times better moisture retention, helping to preserve the freshness and nutritional quality of fruits and vegetables.
The 66-liter Magic Convertible Zone offers temperature flexibility, allowing it to function as either a refrigerator or a freezer, adjustable from -20°C to +5°C. The dedicated Freezer Zone includes an automatic ice maker.
The Deep Freezer Zone features a “Bottom Cooling System” that circulates cold air from the base, aiming for 50% faster air circulation and minimal temperature fluctuations (less than 0.1°C), helping to prevent frost formation. This zone is capable of reaching temperatures down to -30°C.
Connected Features and Pricing
The In-Vista integrates with Haier’s Master Smart app suite. This connectivity allows users to track food inventory, receive storage guidance, manage ice production, monitor energy consumption, and view sterilisation progress in real-time. The refrigerator also includes ABT Pro sterilisation, an automated cycle that operates approximately every hour for under 20 minutes, visible via the connected app.
Commenting on the launch, Mr. NS Satish, CEO, Haier Appliances India, stated that the In-Vista reflects the company’s focus on integrating distinctive aesthetics with practical innovation while strengthening its premium product portfolio. He highlighted the product’s Free Built-in Technology, intelligent 5-zone storage, and advanced food preservation.
The Haier In-Vista 5-Door Side-by-Side Refrigerator is priced at INR 2,59,990. It will be available for purchase through Haier’s official website and retail outlets across India.
