GTA Online for PC Set to Receive Major Updates Next Year, Including Ray Tracing and Enhanced Graphics

Rockstar Games has confirmed substantial upgrades to the PC version of GTA Online next year, adding the features available on current-gen versions of the title, which would be the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. In a recent blog post detailing what’s next for GTA, the company confirmed it will add a number of popular PC gamer requests. These include ray tracing support, texture and draw distance upgrades, more population and traffic, more vegetation, and higher quality lighting shadows, as well as water reflections.

The Upcoming GTA Online Ray Tracing

Further iteration upon the game’s anti-aliasing and motion blur, along with visual effects improvements for explosions and fire also for players to look forward to. Considering we ought to be seeing GTA VI next year, it’s going to be interesting to see if Rockstar can split its focus between the two games or not. For now, the game will continue to receive updates and new content, which will include new features in December and further out.

It’s no wonder, then, that the game’s online support isn’t likely to be slowing down anytime soon, with over 400,000 players entering the game during a single session last month in order to play through the recently released Ludendorff Cemetery Survival Mode, similar to its popularity both this month and next. You can now play GTA Online on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One.

These must-read developments are just around the corner and hopefully with that players will experience a better playing experience as well as improved graphics. As the franchise prepares for its next chapter, these updates will help keep the game fresh and attractive. All of these features will definitely improve gameplay but also add to the overall experience of immersing the players in the ever-changing world of GTA Online.
