All About the Guvi Ed-Tech AI Company

GUVI, an educational technology startup that originated from IIT Madras and IIM Ahmedabad, has established a reputation for its commitment to personalized learning. Their expertise lies in offering online educational resources, upskilling opportunities, and avenues for recruitment. Importantly, GUVI prioritizes imparting technical skills in various regional languages, making education more inclusive and accessible.

The new Online Course on AI offers several noteworthy benefits. GUVI, known for its emphasis on vernacular languages, has thoughtfully curated the AI for India 2.0 program in nine different Indian languages. By doing so, they have catered to the diverse linguistic backgrounds of learners across the country. This program, introduced by GUVI, aspires to educate individuals, particularly rural youth, in cutting-edge technologies like AI. By joining forces with Skill India, the program benefits from the collective expertise of leading educational institutions and industry players, ensuring a well-rounded and industry-relevant curriculum.

During the launch event, Minister Pradhan emphasized the importance of offering technology courses in multiple Indian languages. He firmly believed that technology should not be restricted to a specific language and advocated for dismantling the language barrier in technology education. By embracing programs like AI for India 2.0, the minister believed that the country’s youth, especially those residing in rural areas, could be future-proofed and empowered to excel in the technology-driven world.

The government’s decision to make the AI for India 2.0 program available online and free of charge reflects its commitment to expanding its reach to as many learners as possible. Additionally, the accreditations from NCVET and IIT Madras ensure that the course maintains high standards of quality and relevance. With these measures in place, the government aims to provide a comprehensive and inclusive education in AI, fostering a skilled workforce capable of thriving in the digital age.
