GoPro has introduced the new GoPro Hero 12 Black action camera in India. Compared to the Hero 11 Black, this one has a number of upgrades, including better battery life and stability.
Although it has several differences, the Hero 12 Black resembles its predecessor. HDR is now supported in 5.3K and 4K. The camera has a GP2 processor and a 27.13 MP image sensor.

Additionally, it can extract stills with a resolution of 24.69MP from videos. Depending on how the video will be utilized, the bigger image sensor enables you to record in wide and vertical formats. The camera can record 5.3K videos at 60 frames per second and 4K videos at 120 frames per second, just like the Hero 11 Black. The 8:7 aspect ratio is also accepted.
The upgraded HyperSmooth 6.0 video stabilization included with the action camera may deliver the “widest” frame while assuring steady movies. Additionally, the camera has a built-in Horizon Lock that keeps the horizon level even when it rotates a complete 360 degrees.
The new Max Lens Mod 2.0 is also included with the GoPro Hero 12 Black, allowing for a field of view of up to 177° in 4K and both 16:9 and 9:16 aspect ratios. Extension poles and watertight shutter remotes are additional extras. In-camera tools are supported, as well as nighttime effects including star trails, light paintings, vehicle light trails, and more. The Quik app, which offers cloud backups as well, can be used to make edits.
