At the end of April, Stadia decided to surprise its fans with an eventful last week. Action-packed with a UI revamp, some notable game updates including the Embr Premium Update, and much more. However, for some reason, only one new game was released on the gaming platform.
Stadia Changelog is a weekly series on 9to5Google where we round up some of the Stadia news that we wouldn’t otherwise be able to talk about. This includes a roundup of what new games were released on Stadia during the week, what games saw updates and patches, new games either confirmed or speculated for the platform, and more. New games now available
This week, Google decided to launch only one new game for its Stadia platform — Legend of Keepers: Career of a Dungeon Manager. The management-style game is described as “the perfect mix between Dungeon Management and Roguelite” and costs $19.99 on the Stadia Store.
Google had earlier promised it will add at least 100 titles to its service this year, and as of this week, it has already managed to add 44 games to stadia.
Stadia Pro for May 2021
Google announced that next week it will be launching three new titles for its Stadia:
- Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince
- Floor Kids
- Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number
Dirt 5 Year One Upgrade
This week Stadia released the Year One Edition of its Dirt 5 for its platform. The $79.99 bundle includes the “Year One Upgrade” that would cost players $39.99 otherwise.

Embr Premium Update
This week the Embr title received a Premium Update from its developers for the Stadia platform where the game is available as one of Stadia’s only early access titles. The latest update adds a plethora of new cosmetic items, tool upgrades, and also a “new shiny UI” for the game. The Embr Premium Update is free, however, it isn’t live on Stadia as of yet.
Marvel’s Avengers gets a possibly permanent price drop
For the fans of Marvel, it seems that the studio behind Marvel’s Avengers, Square Enix appears to have permanently dropped the price of the title. The game now starts at $39.99, down from the previous $59.99.
Cyberpunk 2077 v1.22
The latest hot-fix version 1.22 has been rolled out on Stadia this week and “it’s no longer possible to get soft locked in the key bindings menu if a keyboard is not available.”
Watch Dogs: Legion
Ubisoft has delayed the next title update for Watch Dogs: Legion. Announced on Twitter, the update is being pushed to May 4.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla 1.2.1
Ubisoft released a new title update to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, v1.2.1. The latest patch includes support for the Wrath of the Druids expansion and adds three new skills: Cold Rage, Eye of the North, and Intense Rage.
- Cold Rage – Ignore hit interruptions while performing successive regular melee attacks. This effect recharges after a few seconds.
- Eye of the North – Prevents flinching from hits while aiming with your bow. This effect recharges after a few seconds.
- Intense Rage – Ignore hit interruptions while performing your next off-hand parry or special attack. This effect recharges after a few seconds.
Stadia’s UI update affects extensions
Stadia also received a complete revamp of its UI and now the service includes better family sharing controls and a native search bar.
