Google Releases Android 14 Beta 2 with New Features for Select Devices

The latest beta of Android 14 has been made available by Google. At Google I/O, the company said that beta access to Android 14 would be extended to a small number of handsets from a select few manufacturers. This would allow customers to test the next version of Android before the company makes it available to the public later this year. Users can test out the most recent version of Android before its official release later this year thanks to the availability of this testing version.

All About Android 14 Beta 2

According to Google’s website for Android developers, Android 14 Beta 2 offers three new features. The user may move between tasks and activities and return to the home screen thanks to these features, which include personalized and built-in predictive back animations. Aside from calling and alarm apps, full-screen intent notifications for other apps are not by default supported in Android 14 Beta 2. Data security notifications have also been improved in Android 14 Beta 2, making them more noticeable on smartphones.

Android 14 Beta 2 is currently available for devices from a number of vendors, including Nothing, OnePlus, Lenovo, Oppo, Vivo, Realme, Xiaomi, and Tecno. Visit the websites of the devices you own to access Android 14 Beta 2: Nothing Phone 1, Xiaomi 12T, OnePlus 11, Xiaomi 13, Oppo Find N2 Flip, Xiaomi 13 Pro, Vivo X90 Pro, iQoo 11, and Realme GT 2 Pro. Users can quickly go back to Android 13 if they wish to quit testing the new version after it has been installed.
