Android 11 will be the next android version we will get to see on our mobile platforms soon. Most of the present-day smartphones run on Android 10 Oreo. According to Google’s Android Developers, Android 11 is still in development and there is some delay this time with the launch. The Google I/O was canceled due to COVID-19 and it was anticipated that the launch of the next Android version will be done at that event.

Later on the launch date of Android 11 with its official logo was reported to be on June 1, which again got postponed to 3rd June by the company itself. But again yesterday Android Developers announced that we have to wait for the Android 11 launch as the previous launch date has again been postponed. They have not mentioned any particular date for the event, but we have anticipated that it will be launched within July or August or to the earliest it can be the end of June.

We are excited to tell you more about Android 11, but now is not the time to celebrate. We are postponing the June 3rd event and beta release. We'll be back with more on Android 11, soon.

The launch event has been postponed officially and this decision should be respected as the company can frame a better angle and exposure for its products to launch and showcase at the same time. The ongoing tension in Oakland, Los Angeles seems to be playing a major part in the delay of the launch. As of now, we can expect that the 11th version is yet not ready for the customers to take a hand on but as promised by the company it will be available in Q3 and it is also trying to make it sooner than possible.

Google earlier this month had released the fourth Android 11 developer preview for Pixel phones and meant to end its developer preview releases in April and start with beta releases in May, but that has been now again been postponed. The tech giant has delayed the launch of Android 11 beta updates to June as protests have spread across the United States over the killing of George Floyd, a Minneapolis black man who died after being pinned by the neck under a white police officer’s knee. This becoming one of the main reasons for the company to release such an amazing up-gradation in such a crucial moment.
