The excited news of the Google Pixel 8a’s entry into India was all over the internet, rendering techies speechless upon hearing the news. What was, in the beginning, a fun daydream before the phone’s arrival can now be a thrilling surprise, as experts thought Google would release the Pixel 8a during its annual I/O conference on May 14.

Google Pixel 8a

However, the big news arrived early when Google announced the Pixel 8a early, surprising everyone. The Google Pixel 8a, the latest offering from Google, features a built-in Gemini AI Assistant and the Tensor G3 chipset but costs a bit more than the Google Pixel 7a. The Pixel 8a starts at ₹52,999, but there’s a route to snag it for ₹39,999.

The All New Google Pixel 8a

Pre-orders for the Google Pixel 8a are now live on Flipkart, and the sale will begin on May 14. Aloe, Bay, Obsidian, and Porcelain, as well as 128GB and 256GB, are available to take users to the next level. With the opportunity to be one of the first adopters, customers may take advantage of various benefits, including a launch offer of a ₹4,000 SBI Credit Card discount and a ₹9,000 exchange offer on eligible phones, bringing it down to just ₹39,999. In addition, during this time, the Pixel Buds A-Series is available for only ₹999.

The Google Pixel 8a boasts a truly flagship-quality 6.1-inch OLED Actua display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 and up to a 120 Hz refresh rate, preserved by Corning Gorilla Glass. Specifically, the company says that the Pixel 8a has a 40 percent brighter screen than its predecessor. The design of the Pixel 8a looks similar to that of the previous devices, but the new smartphone has it refined with a matte finish back panel, a polished aluminum frame, and a special camera insert that consists of two sensors.

The Pixel 8a runs on Google’s own Tensor G3 chipset, which allows you to enjoy decent performance thanks to 8 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and lifelong storage. The camera consists of a 64-megapixel primary lens and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens in the back, while the front camera has a 13-megapixel lens with a wide field of view.

Additionally, the Best Take, Magic Editor, and Audio Magic Eraser AI capabilities boost the Pixel 8a camera’s performance, making it one of the best. The phone also has Gemini, Google’s AI assistant, so users can communicate via text, voice, and images. The Pixel 8a contains a 4492 mAh battery that lasts all day and includes an in-the-box charger in the retail package.
