The highly anticipated Google Pixel 8 series is set to be released soon, following the success of its predecessor, the Google Pixel 7 lineup, which featured the Google Pixel 7 and Google Pixel 7 Pro. Similar to previous launches, the upcoming series is expected to introduce a standard model as well as a Pro version.

Recently, a leak surfaced, providing insights into the key specifications of the Pixel 8 Pro model, the successor to the Pixel 7 Pro that hit the market in October 2022 with notable features such as the Tensor G2 SoC and a 5,000mAh battery supporting 30W wired fast charging.
According to a tipster who shared details on Twitter, the Pixel 8 Pro is likely to boast a 6.7-inch QHD+ (2960 x 1440 pixels) LTPO OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It is also expected to come preloaded with the latest Android 14 operating system.
Under the hood, the Pixel 8 Pro is rumored to be powered by an in-house Tensor G3 SoC, which will be combined with a Titan chip and 12GB of RAM, ensuring optimal performance. The leak suggests that the phone will be available in two storage options: 128GB and 256GB.
The Pixel 8 Pro is rumored to feature a triple rear camera setup, including a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, a 64MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 48MP telephoto lens. On the front, there will likely be an 11MP sensor for high-quality selfies.
When it comes to battery life, the Pixel 8 Pro is expected to come equipped with a 4,950mAh battery, supporting 27W wired fast charging. Notably, reports suggest the inclusion of a temperature sensor, which may double as a contactless thermometer, along with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for added security and convenience.
