Google, the largest search engine in the world, is honoring the Persian New Year Nowruz by featuring a floral doodle that embodies the festival’s concept through spring flowers like tulips, hyacinths, daffodils, and bee orchids. The doodle’s colorful flowers, which represent the coming of spring and fresh starts, are full of life.

The Persian word Navroz, which literally means “new day,” derives from the phrases “Nav” and “Roz,” both of which signify new. In the last 3,000 years, Zoroastrians and Iranians have been the main sources of Navroz’s history. Many rituals and practices are observed to mark this occasion, which is revered as a time of renewal and rebirth. The Google Doodle, which appears on the search engine’s homepage, is a unique and transient modification of the Google logo. It has emerged as one of the most well-liked methods for commemorating a variety of occasions, including festivals, holidays, and the birthdays of well-known people, among others.
