Good Partner 2: Drama Details

A Grand Comeback

The new teaser poster shows Cha Eun Kyung’s return. She has left her old firm, Daejung, and built her own divorce law firm, Spring Again, where she now serves as CEO. Jang Nara’s character wears the confident smile of a star lawyer with 20 years of experience, and her expression shows a firm, resolute core. You can read more about the actress on Wikipedia’s Jang Nara page.

The Empty Chair

The poster’s most striking detail is the empty chair next to her. It signals that she is welcoming a new partner for her second chapter, and the tagline makes it explicit: she is looking for a partner to join the second divorce show. It’s a neat way to introduce the new dynamic before a single scene airs.

A New Kind of Partnership

In Season 1, Cha Eun Kyung was paired with rookie lawyer Han Yu Ri, played by Nam Ji Hyun, and the story was about the fresh chemistry between a veteran and a newcomer. This time her partner is Kang Hye Sung, an experienced lawyer played by Kim Hye Yoon. That means the chemistry will be different: two seasoned professionals learning to become each other’s good partner.

What Season 2 Promises?

The production team says the second season goes a step further than focusing only on divorce cases. It will also show clients’ lives and the decisions that continue after the divorce. The team also teased the second wave of growth for Cha Eun Kyung with her new partner. The show is again written by a real divorce attorney, which helped give the first season its grounded feel.
