New Delhi, 18 June, 2021 – GoDaddy Inc. (NYSE: GDDY), the company that empowers everyday entrepreneurs, today announced its official sponsorship of the International Cricket Council (ICC) World Test Championship 2021. This announcement is a continuation of GoDaddy’s association with the ICC, starting with the Men’s Cricket World Cup. As cricket holds a special place in almost every Indian’s heart, GoDaddy has been supporting the sport in various formats to create awareness about the benefits of creating a powerful online identity. The company has been associated with Indian cricket star, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, as its India brand ambassador for over two years, inspiring small business owners to create a website for their business.

As part of the partnership with ICC, the GoDaddy logo and GoDaddy Pro sub-brand logo will be promoted on in-stadia LED panels, along the sides of the boundary line and on the mid-wicket area on-ground. GoDaddy Pro is dedicated to web designers and developers, giving them the tools, support and value to help them efficiently manage and grow their businesses. Promoting GoDaddy Pro during the World Test Championships reinforces the company’s continued commitment to inspire and support India’s web professional community.

Commenting on the partnership, Anurag Dahiya, Chief Commercial Officer at the International Cricket Council said, “We are excited to renew our partnership with GoDaddy and delighted to see them support the inaugural World Test Championship Final.”

“The ICC World Test Championship is the first international tournament where team India will play since the COVID outbreak. With cricket being one of the most favorite sports in India, we hope it instills a ray of good hope, positivity, and cheer, bringing in much need respite and entertainment for everyone. As this event brings people together from across the world and showcases a strong spirit of nationalism and sportsmanship, it provides a perfect place for us to create awareness about the ease of building an online presence with GoDaddy’s online tools and solutions, especially in today’s increasingly digitalized world,” Nikhil Arora, Managing Director and Vice President, GoDaddy India further added.

GoDaddy offers an integrated suite of online products ranging from domain names, hosting, website building, email marketing, security protections and an online store. GoDaddy offers 24/7 customer support, locally and in regional languages, to help guide customers in the growth of their venture, and to find the tools that best meet their needs.
