Giorgi Mamardashvili is closing in on a move to Liverpool. The Valencia goalkeeper is being discussed between the two clubs, with a price tag worth over €30 million being rumoured.
Should the transfer go through, Mamardashvili would stay at Valencia for the 24-25 season, and would join Liverpool in 2025. However, there is still some way to go for a total agreement between the two clubs.

The Georgian has been the subject of transfer interest for the past few seasons, owing to his impressive performances. He was also one of the standout performers at Euro 2024, helping his country qualify for the knockout stages of the competition.
The 23-year-old’s contract expires in 2027, and Valencia aren’t under any major pressure to sell him. As a result, they could drive up the final amount through add-ons and performance based bonuses.
Alisson’s contract expires in 2027 as well, and he doesn’t look likely to leave the club anytime soon. As a result, Giorgi Mamardashvili might have to play as a back-up goalkeeper for the Brazilian before making the move up to first-choice.
