Gionee is all set to launch a new smartphone that has already appeared on TENAA’s website having the model number Gionee GSE1020. As of now, the company has not revealed the retail name of this phone. One of the highlights of this phone is its cookie-shaped camera module. But unfortunately, Gionee has used an outdated OS in it. First of all, coming to its OS, the Gionee GSE1020 runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat. This is definitely an outdated OS compared to the latest Android 11. This phone is powered by an unnamed 2.0GHz octa-core processor. Coming to the display, this phone features a 6.53-inch 1560 x 720 HD+ waterdrop notch display.
The unnamed SoC of this phone is paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage. The storage is further expandable via an external microSD card. Coming to its camera section, this phone features a cookie-shaped triple rear camera setup with the support of an LED flash. But the listing says that there are only two cameras. Interestingly, this phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner on the left side as per the images from TENAA.
In terms of battery, the Gionee GSE1020 is fueled up by a 4,000mAH battery whereas there is no information regarding the fast charging support. As per TENAA, this phone will be available in five different color variants: Rose Gold, Amber Gold, Magic Night Black, Starry Sky Blue, and Black Stone Green. As per the dimension, this phone measures 164.3 x 77.7 x 9.7 millimeters and weighs around 204.2 grams.
