Why 2027?
The confirmation came in mid-August 2026 through Netflix’s updated press slate. The show was absent from the “Next on Netflix 2026” lineup, which was an early sign it was slipping. Past seasons premiered in February 2021, January 2023 and June 2025, so an early 2027 return is plausible. That is only a guess, though, until Netflix announces a date.
What Is Season 4 About?
Season 3 ended with Georgia pregnant and the father unknown. It could be Paul or Joe. Netflix’s official synopsis says Georgia has dodged a murder charge, but the Millers are broke again. Strange events also hint that her past isn’t staying buried. Ginny wants to break the cycle of chaos, and Georgia wants to prove she can change. Austin faces the world alone.
Creator Lampert says the show will dig deeper into Georgia’s origins, including the return of her estranged mother and stepfather. Brianne Howey, who plays Georgia, teases a “pretty remarkable cliffhanger” to close the season.

Will There Be a Season 5?
Not yet. Lampert has said she doesn’t know about season 5, though she believes there is more story to tell. Season 3 was a global hit, earning over 53 million views and ranking in the top 10 in more than 90 countries. That gives the show a strong case for renewal.
