NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti and RTX 3070 Ti

With an updated release date, the most anticipated Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Ti is now ready to be launched in May. Hence, the custom graphics card maker Gigabyte has submitted a total of 12 different 3080 Ti offerings to the Eurasian Economic Commission.

Earlier it was reported that the RTX 3080 Ti will bring with it 20 GB of VRAM on the GA102-250 GPU with Gigabyte’s original EEC submission. However, now we know that the GA102-250 GPU has been shifted over onto RTX 3090 cards.

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti, on the other hand, will now be receiving the GA102-225 GPU rather than the original GA102-250 GPU. The card is even getting a die change along with a change in its original intended memory. The original 20GB has now been dropped down to 12GB of GDDR6X using a 384-bit bus with a speed of 19 Gbps. The graphics card now comes equipped with 10240 CUDA Cores and 80 SM units.

Coming to the models listed in the EEC submission by Gigabyte includes the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3080 Ti AORUS XTREME WATERFORCE WB as the ultra-premium offering as well as the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3080 Ti TURBO at the budget end of the spectrum.

According to the listing, the total five series offerings are the TURBO, EAGLE, VISION, GAMING, AORUS MASTER, and AORUS EXTREME ordered based on Gigabyte’s hierarchy, with the AORUS EXTREME being the ultra-premium offering of the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti.

For now, Gigabyte has not revealed the pricing of the various custom RTX 3080 Ti, but it is expected that the MSRP for the Founders Edition card will be around $999. However, most manufacturers may increase their prices due to the low stock and high demand, which makes me think that most models other than the TURBO will not be very close to the MSRP.
