West Ham United and Sassuolo have reached an agreement over the signing of Gianluca Scamacca. The transfer has been given the here we go signal by Fabrizio Romano, which suggests that it is only a matter of time before the transfer is made official.
The amount agreed between the two clubs is around €36 million up-front plus add-ons worth €6 million. Sassuolo have also inserted a 10% sell-on clause, which means that they will be entitled to this percentage of any future sale amount.

The medical for the transfer is scheduled for tomorrow, following which, the deal will be confirmed by both clubs. Paris Saint-Germain were also in the race to sign Gianluca Scamacca, but were not willing to pay the €50 million demanded for him.
Now, West Ham United have swooped in and have reached a quick agreement for his signature. They are also working to sign Filip Kostic from Europa League winners Eintracht Frankfurt, and are confident of reaching an agreement soon.
Chelsea’s Armando Broja was one of the names on the transfer list for the Hammers. However, their €30 million offer seems to have fallen through. Thomas Tuchel is keen to keep the Albanian at Stamford Bridge for the coming season, which has caused the transfer to seemingly fall through. But now, they have an experienced Italy international to lead their line for the coming seasons.
