HoiChoi is an awesome and fantastic OTT platform in the online video streaming market. IIn this April, HoiChoi is going to embrace its crime and mystery thriller genre.  The streaming giant takes a big step by launching 19 powerful and incredible stories to us. 

After, the March lineup, the OTT giant has planned to launch more shows and films this year. The founder of HoiChoi also told about their aim to bring distinct stories to our audiences with different tastes.

Here is the list of Upcoming HoiChoi Drama Series in April 2023: 

1.Byomkesh O Pinjrapol 

Satyanweshi Byomkesh Bakshi, along with friend Ajit, embarks upon the thrilling journey of untangling a spine-chilling murder mystery where everyone is a suspect, and the truth has multiple faces. Based on Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay’s ‘Chiriyakhana’.  In this season we are going to see Anirban Bhattacharya playing the role of detective Bakshi. The two and the half minute trailer starts with different moments of Byomkesh Bakshi receiving phone calls. With time a new case comes into the hand of the incredible Byomkesh Bakshi. The detective has come to the spot and starts a conversation with an old man. 

Byomkesh is asking the old man “ I see, you don’t have any respect for mankind’, in reply he asked, ‘Is there really any reason to believe in?’ The tale starts with the question ‘ You are white or black?’ with the deep smoke of the cigar of Byomkesh.In between this Byomkesh is getting several blackmails from a mysterious person who wears a black coat, a black hat, and black sunglass. Suddenly a loud scream and a death happened. After this police come for the investigation. 

Byomkesh Bakshi has come to investigate the death of Nishanath. After entering the field he states, ‘love is in the air’. the investigation started with full force. He reaches one of the suspects and takes the statement from them. On that night when Nishanth becomes dead, everyone is telling them they were sleeping at that time. Now Bakshi suspects victims are giving completely wrong information or semi-wrong. As the trailer continues mystery takes a figure of a deep blue sea, and Byomkesh is like the only sailor in this sea. Among all of this, someone throws him a question, ‘ Do you want a society without criminals?’, he also added, ‘then you may face unemployment.’  

There are several strange and mysterious incidents he is facing in this entire sequence. At the end of the trailer, one man is asking him, ‘Have you failed in any cases in your life?’ in reply Bakshi said, ‘Yes! I failed’. After this answer, the man tells him to write a novel about those failed cases along with the successful cases. The main question is will he fail this time? Or solve the mystery and catch the culprit, for this you have to watch the series.

2. Mohanagar 2 

The inimitable OC Harun will return with a new web of mystery and a set of irresistible characters traversing his past and present. The second season of the critically acclaimed series, Mohanagar, premieres this April on HoiChoi. 

3. Jaatishwar 

This April 2023, the stunning actress Madhumita Sarkar is coming with a new series Jaatishwar. You may connect the series with Prasenjit Chatterjee and Srijit Mukherjee’s film, but no there is no connection between them. The concept is the same which means a man who reminds the life of her last birth. In this series, Madhumita will play the role of a passionate photographer. 

The tale revolves around Rupkotha independent girl who prefers is to live alone. She visits a certain place for one of her assignments. There she got only two witnesses a blast from her past. This is a complete murder mystery thriller series. It seems the actress is trying to represent herself in a different category. The last film ‘Dilkhush’ has got huge success among the audience.
