Julian Nagelsmann has named the Germany national team squad for the March international break, coming with a number of surprises. Six newcomers have been named for the squad, with Aleksandar Pavlovic getting the nod in spite of reports that he would be called up to the U21s instead, which led to a lot of protests in Serbia, and with fans.
Jan-Niklas Beste, Maximilian Beier, Waldemar Anton, Maximilian Mittelstaedt and Deniz Undav complete the list of newcomers for the friendlies, with less than 100 days remaining for the Euros.

Only one Borussia Dortmund player has made the final squad in Niclas Fullkrug. Moreover, Toni Kroos has officially been named in the squad after announcing he would come out of retirement for the Euros. Fans have been wishing for a change in fortune owing to Germany’s poor form in recent years.
Perhaps the shakeup will allow the team to achieve better results, especially since there is the aspect of saving face because the Euros will be played in Germany.
