Google has widened access to its newest model. The official Google Antigravity account said it is rolling out Gemini 4 Argon in Antigravity to paid Google AI Pro subscribers today, 16 October.
The post, which passed 1.1 million views, says demand has been incredible and capacity was scaled deliberately to reach this point.

What Changed for Pro Users
Until now, a creator summary on X said Pro users could use Argon in the Gemini app and AI Mode but not in Antigravity. This announcement from the Antigravity account itself changes that for Pro subscribers.
Google added a separate weekly-only quota for Argon on top of the existing Gemini bucket used for 3.8 Flash. The aim, in Google’s words, is to give users the best of Gemini across all their tasks.
How the Quota Works
Two buckets now exist. The Argon bucket resets weekly, and the Gemini bucket covers 3.8 Flash. That means heavy Argon use will not eat into your faster, lighter model allowance, and the reverse.
Google has not said in the post how large the weekly Argon quota is, so check the Antigravity settings for your current limit. Learn about the tool at Google Antigravity.
What It Means for Jio Users
Many Indian users get Google AI Pro through the Jio offer, as explained in our Jio free Gemini Pro guide. If your Pro plan is active, you should now be able to use Argon inside Antigravity as the rollout reaches your account.
Rollouts are staged, so it may take a little time to show up. Developers can also use Argon in Cursor, as we covered earlier.
Why Google Is Pacing Capacity
Frontier models are expensive to serve, and a surge in demand can slow responses for everyone. Scaling capacity deliberately lets Google open access in steps instead of overloading the system.
For subscribers, the weekly cap is the trade-off for access. Plan heavy coding sessions around it, and use the 3.8 Flash bucket for lighter tasks.

How to Use the New Quota Well
Use Argon for the tasks where model quality matters most, such as planning a refactor, debugging a hard issue or reviewing a large change. Switch to 3.8 Flash for quick edits, explanations and repetitive work, so the weekly Argon allowance lasts longer.
If you hit the weekly cap, the 3.8 Flash bucket still works, which keeps you productive until the Argon quota resets. Check your Antigravity usage page for the exact numbers, since Google has not stated them in the announcement.
