GeForce NOW subscribers who enjoy RPGs have some great new options this week with the addition of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. However, they differ fundamentally in game style – Oblivion is a classic Western open-world RPG with real-time combat, and Clair Obscur is a more linear, turn-based JRPG with JRPG elements and innovative real-time mechanics.

GeForce NOW Expands Library with Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and Oblivion Remastered This Week

Both of them run on Unreal Engine 5, are included in Xbox Game Pass, and can be streamed on NVIDIA’s GeForce NOW cloud gaming platform. In other words, you don’t have to own high-end PC hardware to play them. Both games support NVIDIA’s DLSS Super Resolution for better visuals and framerates, which can be accessed by GeForce NOW Priority and Ultimate tier users.

Ultimate subscribers also get exclusive refinements in Oblivion Remastered, like DLSS Frame Generation support and hardware-accelerated Lumen ray-traced global illumination technology—cutting-edge features that enhance lighting and frame pacing.

Recent talk about Oblivion Remastered has stolen our attention in the last week, but we’re equally intrigued about Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Critical reception has been positive, with the game holding an average of over 90 on Metacritic across all platforms. There’s more than just 2 blockbuster releases out this week for GeForce NOW’s Game Ready on GeForce NOW Thursday weekly drop.

New additions include Sunderfolk, Ace Attorney Investigations Collection, Ace Attorney Investigations Collection Demo, Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster Demo, EXFIL, and Sands of Aura. These games are available across Steam, Xbox, Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store. Overall, this week’s GeForce NOW update gives RPG fans a solid mix of modern and classic experiences, all playable through the cloud, perfect for gamers without a powerful rig.
