Health and Battery

The Vivoactive 5 has a bright AMOLED display and up to 11 days of battery life in smartwatch mode, which is far longer than most mainstream smartwatches. Garmin’s Body Battery feature estimates your energy levels from sleep, naps, stress, workouts and daily activity.

The watch tracks heart rate, stress, fitness age, menstrual cycle, pregnancy and meditation and gives a sleep score with coaching tips. See the brand at Garmin.

Value and Use

The 51% discount is against an M.R.P. of Rs 34,990, and the 10% bank offer lowers the effective price to about Rs 15,291. For a Garmin with built-in GPS and AMOLED, that is a strong price.

Garmin watches focus on fitness and battery life rather than apps, so you will not get the full Wear OS or Apple Watch app experience. Battery life drops sharply with GPS in use.

Who Should Buy It, and Who Should Skip

It suits runners, gym-goers and wellness-minded users who value battery life and health insights. Skip it if you want a full app store, cellular connectivity or contactless payments in India.
