Ganesh Chaturthi, likewise called Ganeshotsav, is celebrated as the actual anniversary of Lord Ganesha. The 11-day festivities begin on Sept 18th through devotees welcoming Bappa with utmost excitement and dedication. One of the most highly-awaited Indian festivals concludes with the final immersion of the idol called the Ganesh visarjan.
This year, the Ganesh Chaturthi revelries will differ from the usual grandeur due to the ongoing pandemic. However, stars of B-Town mark Ganesh Chaturthi by bringing festivities to their homes this year.

Amitabh Bachchan shared regression pictures from his visit to the temple last year. He wrote on Instagram, “Ganpati Bappa Moraya.”
Anushka Sharma is also pitching up for the arrival of Bappa. She shared a picture of herself and wrote, “When you got to traffic furniture around for Ganpati and gym is the only place.” Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra also go to Lalbaug on Sunday to bring home a beautiful Ganpati idol. The couple also bare the face of their Ganesh idol to the paps.
Ram Charan shared a picture: “Wishing you all a happy Ganesh Chaturthi! May the year gaining be guided by the wisdom of Lord Ganesha.” Varun Tej, his fiance Lavanya Tripathi, and their family’s famous Ganesh Chaturthi together.
