ARC Raiders Launches October 30 on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC

Embark Studios revealed during the Summer Game Fest 2025 that its upcoming PvPvE third-person shooter, ARC Raiders, is set to launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on October 30, 2025. Since Embark has surprise-released The Finals during a previous Geoff Keighley showcase, some players were hoping that ARC Raiders might take that route and launch today. But that wasn’t the case this time, and it means fans will need to wait a few more months to get their hands on the new title.

A testing phase for the game took place last month, with some players getting a chance to sample the game early for themselves, which Embark said went very well. “The tech test was the best rehearsal we could get ahead of what’s shaping up to be a major release this fall. It’s clear that players recognize the passion, effort, and craftsmanship behind ARC Raiders,” said Aleksander Grøndal, the game’s executive producer, in a press release.

Grøndal added that the feedback from the tech test is helping refine the game in its final stages. “There are bugs to address, general polishing, and performance optimizations to complete. We’re also fine-tuning game balance, player economy, and enhancing the onboarding experience for newcomers to this genre. When it launches, the game will feature additional content, including more locations, fresh adventures, and new challenges for players to explore and conquer.”

Impressions from the tech test suggest that ARC Raiders hold considerable promise. While it’s always tough to predict the success of a new multiplayer title, even from a team with a hit like The Finals, ARC Raiders seems to blend familiar mechanics with fresh ideas, crafting an experience that could stand out in the competitive extraction shooter space.
