Game of Thrones: Kingsroad Enters Steam Early Access on March 26

Netmarble Neo has announced that the action-adventure RPG Game of Thrones: Kingsroad will launch on Steam Early Access on Wednesday, March 26. This comes on the heels of a demo they released last month as part of Steam Next Fest, which apparently was well-received, leading the devs to make the leap to early access.

The game will be in early access only for the next at least four weeks, which is a relatively short time. The store page describes the game as allowing players to travel around much of Westeros, including major cities such as Winterfell, King’s Landing, and Highgarden. The early access game will include 50 story chapters, hundreds of side missions, co-op dungeons, and endgame PVE content. Players will first travel across the northern lands through Castle Black, Winterfell, The Wall, and Beyond before they can reach The Reach.

Beyond that, Stormlands will unlock, including several new regions like Storm’s End and Felwood, as well as more open-world content, quests, and co-op dungeons, following early access. Using player feedback, the developers will also be refining the game balance including its graphics and UI.

The game will be free to play when fully released, but you will need to buy a Founder’s Pack to play during early access. The Standard Pack costs $24.99 and includes North Outfit, Jon Snow Emoji Pack, and 350 Iron Bank Marks. The Deluxe Pack costs $49.99 and Includes Battle Pass Premium, Wandering Crow Outfit, Darkcloud Mount, exclusive nameplate items, and 6,000 more in-game currency. The most expensive option, the Ultimate Pack, is priced at $89.99 and includes all previous rewards plus the Battle Pass Premium+, White Fang Mount, Brotherhood Without Banners-themed horse and direwolf saddles, and additional currency, bringing the total to 2,000 Iron Bank Marks and 200,000 Copper.
