Following the Closed Beta Test from last month, Netmarble is releasing further details and gameplay footage of the action-adventure game, Game of Thrones: Kingsroad, which is currently in development for iOS, Android, and PC. In recent developer’s clips, the game shows off the powerful ice wall on Castle Black, and the ancestral home of House Stark, Winterfell.
Accompanying the individual reveals, Netmarble put out a press release that detailed new creatures derived from the comparatively obscure lore of George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire They will be encountered in boss fights in the co-op multiplayer mode Altar of Memories.

Game of Thrones: Kingsroad Unveils Castle Black, Winterfell, and Legendary Creatures for Co-Op Battles
Among these monsters are Ice Spiders, giant, horrible beasts that were supposedly ridden by White Walkers as they attacked the Seven Kingdoms. They crawl on ceilings in caves and attack with webs that include venom. Another, the Stormhorn Unicorn, is a rare, goat-like beast from the island of Skagos, who was believed to be able to summon thunder and lightning and who uses her formidable horn and massive frame in battle.
The Ironbeak Griffin, once rumored to inhabit the valleys of the Westerlands, nests in abandoned mines while preying on unsuspecting victims. Finally, the Red Cockatrice is a bizarre but dangerous enemy with a dragon-like body and rooster’s head that uses its sharpened beak and claws to kill foes. The footage also briefly showcases a fight against “Field Boss Drogon,” likely a reference to Daenerys Targaryen’s black dragon.
Players will embark on an original story as a new character who, by a twist of fate, becomes the heir to House Tyre, a minor noble house in Northern Westeros. The game offers a detailed character customization system and lets players choose between three classes—Sellsword, Knight, or Assassin—each inspired by roles from the original series.
