Samsung is expanding its Galaxy Book lineup, introducing five models—Galaxy Book 4, 360, Pro, Pro 360, and Ultra—targeting Microsoft Surface competition. Leaked specifications reveal Intel processors, with the Ultra model upgrading to Nvidia RTX GPUs and Intel’s 14th Gen Meteor Lake chips. Key features include AMOLED displays (excluding the standard Galaxy Book 4), NVMe storage, and preloaded Windows 11, with pricing details yet to be disclosed.

Windows Report leaked details shortly after Intel’s Meteor Lake laptops’ initial retail listings, offering a choice between 1st Gen Core Ultra “Meteor Lake” or Core “Raptor Lake Refresh” CPUs. Samsung commits to Intel CPUs until Qualcomm’s Oryon CPUs release, indicating a shift to Arm-based architecture for Windows PCs, expected in early 2024.

The flagship Intel Core Ultra 9 185H configuration boasts up to 16 cores, 24 threads, and speeds up to 5.1 GHz. Pricing suggests Meteor Lake CPUs target the premium segment, with a Raptor Lake lineup refresh under the 1st Gen Core banner for mainstream and budget audiences. High-end models feature discrete GPUs, while mainstream Core Ultra 7 and Core Ultra 5 laptops rely on integrated GPUs. Entry-level Galaxy Book 4 designs align with previous generations, integrating GPUs.

Samsung’s 2024 Galaxy Book lineup includes five variants. The standard Galaxy Book 4 features an Intel AX200 wireless card, while other models use Intel’s AX210 card, providing Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi 6E upgrades. These enhancements, alongside potential Intel 14th-gen processors and design elements, contribute to the Galaxy Book 4 series’ anticipated appeal. The Galaxy Book 4 Ultra is expected to outperform the M3 Pro 16″ MacBook Pro and the i7-13800H Surface Laptop Studio 2. All Galaxy Book 4 series will run on next-gen Intel Core and Intel Core Ultra processors, with the Galaxy Book 4 Pro lineup featuring Intel ARC graphics.
