What Ameesha Patel Said

In a fan interaction on X, Ameesha Patel held nothing back. She wrote: “GADAR 3 will come for sure and JAB aayegi, theatre mein hungama mach jayega. With audiences love and God’s blessings, 500 crore is just the minimum numbers at the box office for a brand like GADAR — and this time the scale and script will be even bigger and dhamakedar. Be prepared.” India TV News

That is not a maybe. That is a declaration. And coming from someone who has lived through the extraordinary audience love for this franchise firsthand, it carries serious weight.

Ameesha conveyed that whenever the characters of Tara and Sakeena come together again in Gadar 3, it would be a grand-scale project with a huge budget, larger-than-life content, and record-breaking opening collections. Asianet Newsable

Director Anil Sharma’s Update

Director Anil Sharma has already confirmed that the third chapter is not just talk. During an interview, Sharma confirmed that the Gadar 3 script is complete, saying: “Gadar 3 will definitely get made. We’ve already made a commitment to the audience in the last scene of Gadar 2, where Jeete is told he’s worthy of joining the army. We ended the film with the message — to be continued.” Odisha TV

He added: “We’re hoping to take it to the floors in the next two years. The story will focus on Tara and Jeete’s journeys.” NewsX

As for the reported fallout between Sharma and Ameesha after Gadar 2, Sharma confirmed things have settled: “My equation with Ameesha is great now. Waqt ke saath saath sab cheezein sahi ho jaati hai. Abhi sab badhiya hai!” The Daily Jagran

Will Ameesha Patel Return as Sakeena?

Ameesha has said she’d only sign on for Gadar 3 if the script genuinely excites her, just like the first film did — and she won’t budge without proper contracts and paperwork this time. Sharma responded diplomatically: “Sakeena and Tara are an integral part of Gadar. But we’ll discuss more about her character before the release of Gadar 3.” NewsX Odisha TV
