Fortnite has entered Chapter 6 Season 1, and it has introduced a brand new weapon meta. If you’ve played recently, you may have noticed that your favorite weapons are gone. This is because Epic Games vaulted all of the Chapter 2 Remix weapons and added an entirely new set. This new chapter is packed full of exciting weapons and points of interest (POIs) to discover. Here’s a breakdown of the current weapons, those that have been vaulted and those making a comeback.

Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1: New, Vaulted, and Unvaulted Weapons, Plus Medallion Guide
Perhaps the biggest of those is that every Chapter 6 weapon is a hitscan, meaning that players can get away with forgetting about all that pesky bullet drops nonsense and dive back into straight-up combat, a massive boon for new players. For the seven primary armaments, the Holo Twister Assault Rifle and Fury Assault Rifle, Veiled Precision SMG, Surgefire SMG, Sentinel Pump, Twinfire Auto Shotgun, and Oni Shotgun come this season. Combat Special Tools are also introduced in Chapter 4, including the Typhoon Blade, Fire Oni Mask, and Void Oni Mask. Plenty of old favorites are back, including the Lock On Pistol, Rail Gun, Kinetic Blade, Suppressed Pistol, Quad Launcher, Ranger Assault Rifle, Grapple Blade, and Hunting Rifle.
But with the end of Chapter 2 Remix, a lot of the weapons have been vaulted. These are the Meowdas’ Peow Peow Rifle, Snoop Dogg’s Drum Gun, Kit’s Shockwave Launcher, and TNTina’s Ka-Boom Bow, alongside common-range weapons such as the Traditional Assault Rifle, Pump Shotgun and Heavy Sniper Rifle. Utility items like the Bandage Bazooka, Grappler, and Grenades got vaulted as well. So as you jump into the action of Fortnite Chapter 6, spend some time with the new weapons. Remember, Epic Games regularly fine-tunes weapon stats over the course of the season, so don’t be surprised by a few adjustments at some point.
And the medallion system is back, but you need to defeat fat bosses to earn them. Medallions grant special powers, and don’t take up storage space but having one on your person will make you appear on the map. Currently, there are 2 medallions: the Night Rose Medallion and the Wanderer Medallion. Obtained by defeating Night Rose at Demon’s Dojo, the Night Rose Medallion auto-reloads your weapon. Wanderer Medallion: Provides infinite stamina and invisibility when sprinting. It requires you to kill Shogun X when he spawns in the fourth storm circle in Shogun’s Arena. These medallions provide advantages that can dramatically change how you approach combat and movement on the map.
